More Empties and My Thoughts On Them

Yes, once again I have accumulated a bunch of empties in my cupboard. I have been accumulated these for quite some time and thought I should probably review them since my cupboard is getting a little full. I have divided them into 2 main sections: hydrating and treatment empties. For each item, I would let you know if I would repurchase.

If you have yet to read my other empties post here they are 1,2,3,4,5,6, 7

Hydrating Empties

Neogen Real Ferment Micro Essence

Once again I have repurchased and emptied the Neogen Real Ferment Micro Essence. It is still one of my HG toners. I sometimes try not to use it every day since it contains yeast and fungal acne isn’t great with fermented products. It does hydrates your skin while brightening it. Highly recommend it if you want to try a first step essence.

Would I repurchase? Yes, yes, and yes. I will always repurchase.

Round Lab Dokdo Toner -FA safe

Round Lab Dokdo Toner is another one of my all-time favorites. It is one of those products that you don’t see the results immediately. While it hydrates your skin it slowly exfoliates your face. It contains natural minerals found in seawater. Giving your skin the nutrients that it lacks.   I noticed after I stopped using this, my skin wasn’t as hydrated as before. Highly recommend it if you are looking for a gentle exfoliator.

Would I repurchase? Yes

Laneige Cream Skin Toner /Refiner

I really liked the Laneige Cream Skin Refiner initially. When I first applied this, I immediately felt like I have applied a layer of cream. It felt super hydrated and moisturized. However, after using this for a while, I haven’t noticed that initial cream feeling. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who has super dry skin. It is moisturizing but probably enough for dry skin. You would probably have to layer quite a bit, and that could be expensive. I would only recommend it to those who have oily skin and only want a thin moisturizer without weighing them down.

Would I repurchase? No, not hydrating enough for my skin.

Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum

The Innisfree Green Tea serum was hiding in another cabinet but I finally managed to use it up. This is the older version but it is a super light yet hydrating moisturizer. It absorbs into the skin immediately. Great for summertime and oily skin. It is fragranced, so if you have sensitive skin be careful. You can read my full review on the Innisfree Green Tea Serum here.

Would I repurchase?  No, although hydrating, it felt somewhat dry.

Corsrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence- FA safe

The Cosrx Snail Essence is not the most hydrating toner. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who wants something hydrating. Typically, I only used this to help with my acne scars while maybe hydrating. I don’t think it helped that much with my scars. But I think it is worth checking out.

Would I repurchase? No. It is not hydrating and I also didn’t see a big difference.

I’m from Fig Toner

I am pretty sad that I finish up the I’m From Fig Toner. It is super hydrating and moisturizing. It feels like whatever your skin lacks, this toner will give you what you need. Highly Recommend. You can read my in-depth review here.

Would I repurchase? Yes. It is super nourishing. Great when your skin is feeling dry.

Nuxe Nuxellence Detox Purple Detox Mask

I remember not being super amazed by the Nuxe Detox Mask. I felt like it didn’t really do much. Probably wouldn’t recommend it.

Would I repurchase? No.

Elizavecca EGF Retinol Elastic Cream

I really didn’t expect much from Elizavecca Retinol Cream. The packaging looked really kiddy and seemed like a gimmick type of packaging. The Elizavecca cream has a glue-like consistency. It somehow leaves my skin feeling hydrating and moisturized. Great for people who have dry skin.

Would I repurchase?   Maybe. I like it but it is not fungal acne safe.

Treatment Empties

Timeless 20% Vitamin C Ferulic Acid Vitamin E

The Timeless Vitamin C Serum is one of the most highly recommended vitamin c on Reddit.  Many people recommend this as the affordable version of SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic Acid. I personally didn’t notice any significant difference. Just be warned, it doesn’t smell the nicest. If hot dog water bothers you, best to avoid this serum.

Would I repurchase? No. I didn’t see a difference

Neogen Real Vita C Serum – Fa safe

The Neogen Real Vita C Serum is a super gentle vitamin c. It does not irritate my skin in any way. However, I also didn’t notice any brightness.

Would I repurchase? No. Gentle but no results.

Tia’m Vita B3 Source

Tiam Vita B3 Source is a great affordable product. I found that helps brightens my skin. It absorbs into the skin right away. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to even out their skin tone.

Would I repurchase? Yes. It absorbs quickly into the skin and brightens.

Good Molecules

I did like good molecules at one point. I thought it was better than The Ordinary. However, since I had fungal acne, I noticed it didn’t go well with my skin that well. Plus I didn’t see much of a difference after using any of the good molecules product.

Would I repurchase? No. Not fungal acne safe.

Tia’m My Signature Red C Serum

Tiam Red C Serum is one of my all-time favorites vitamin c serum. I found it quite effective but I also remember it is also a bit irritating. If you are looking for something that helps brighten your skin and not too irritating, it is worth trying out. You can read my review on Tiam Red C Serum here.

Would I repurchase? Yes. Very effective.

Wistrend Green Tea Enzyme Powder

The Wishtrend Green Tea Enzyme Powder is a great product. It is a super gentle exfoliator that has a slight green tea smell. It is nowhere as harsh like apricot scrubs. Great for sensitive skin. The green tea smell is potent at the beginning but slowly disappears at the end.

Would I repurchase? Yes. Gentle exfoliator. Great for sensitive skin.

The Ordinary Buffet

Sadly I don’t like many of The Ordinary products anymore. Mainly because they are not fungal acne safe. This was one of my favorites. I felt like it helped my wrinkles a bit. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to start anti-aging.

Would I repurchase? Maybe. Effective but doesn’t go well with my skin.
