I thought it would be a good time to do another What I Have Used Up blog post since I was gonna go travel soon. [ Check out the other stuff I have used up {1} {2}]. Since most of the products were almost empty, it would easier for me to the toss the product and save precious luggage weight ;). Be sure to watch out for new Korean products that I would be hauling.  Should we start?

Cosrx Centella Blemish Balm

This is my third jar of Cosrx Centella blemish balm and I gotta say, it still ones of the first things I reach for when I get a pimple or any acne scar. Definitely, a must buy especially if you are prone to acne scars like me.

Essential Rich Premier Hair Mask

This hair mask was probably one the first Asian hair mask I heard amazing things about. If you ask me years ago, I would say I loved it, but after trying several other Asian masks this is just average. I didn’t see a major difference after using this hair mask. These days my favourite hair mask is the Honeyce Damage Repair Moisture Hair Mask or Shiseido Fino Premium Touch Essence Hair Mask but the total game changer is the Ouai Hair oil. I would recommend the Ouai Hair Oil than all these hair masks combined. The Ouai Hair Oil helps make your hair feels soft and smooth even if you have bleached and dyed your hair. 

The Ordinary  “Buffet”

One of my top picks from the brand The Ordinary, it has so many ingredients like matrixyl and several other peptides to help target multiple signs of aging. Even though I did not see any difference, I would continue to use and rebuy this product. You know the saying, it is always better to start early because it is easier to prevent than to get rid of wrinkles.

Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water All-in-1 Cleansing Water Waterproof Makeup Remover

This is my second bottle of Garnier Cleansing Water and I think its a great cleansing water but make sure you get the blue bottle. I accidentally bought the pink bottle one time and it did not remove my mascara at all. I like to use this to help remove my eye makeup followed by a cleansing oil. This way, there isn’t too much tugging or rubbing near the eyes compared to just using a cleansing oil alone.

Bourjois Healthy mix foundation in Vanilla

I am not sure if this foundation is discontinued since I couldn’t find the exact looking bottle in stores but I really hope they didn’t.  It’s a great foundation, it brightened my skin while making it look healthy and glowy. Although the foundation says it last 16 hours, I don’t think it actually does. I think it lasts about 6 hours on my skin, I wish it would last a little longer.

The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% +HA

I have tried other alpha arbutin toners like the Hada Labo toners,  but I didn’t see a major difference between the two toners and this one was a little more expensive. So I would probably give this a pass.

The Ordinary Advanced Retinoid 2%

From all the things I tried from the brand The Ordinary, the one thing I would recommend is the Advanced Retinoid 2%. Like you probably know retinoids are great for your skin, it is packed with lots of anti-aging benefits. It helps stimulate the production of new cells, which helps get rid of discolouration, hyperpigmentation, reduce the appearance of fine lines and so much more. Usually, when you buy retinoids they cost a lot, even ones that aren’t good. This one is super affordable and effective would highly recommend. Cosrx Galactomyces 95 Whitening Power Essence

Honestly, I don’t really remember if I liked it or not, but I remember it wasn’t super effective. It did not make my skin brighter or whiter instantly. I have a whole list of other products that I recommend for brightening {here}.

Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence

Love this product, this was probably one of the first snail product that I tried out. It’s great for hydration, and acne scars. Would definitely rebuy and recommend you to try this product if you have never tried snail products. However, my favourite snail masks are Mask House Celebrity Snail Extract Moisturizing Gel Mask and Naruko  Snail Essence Intense Hydra Repair Mask and would highly recommend you check it out.

The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%

This was an alright product, I did not see any major difference in brightening. It might be a gradual brighter so it a little harder to see the difference. Might rebuy but I won’t be in rush to buy it.

Health Aid Butchers Broom

Truth to be told, I bought this product because of the Khiel’s Midnight Recovery Eye Cream. Butchers Broom is one one of the active ingredients in their cult favourite Khiel’s Midnight Recovery Eye Cream.  Many people raved about Khiel’s eye cream, on how it got rid of their dark circle but Khiel’s eye cream is pretty pricey.  I thought why not just buy the butcher’s broom and see if it get rid of the dark eye circles. I think it worked pretty well, especially in conjunction with The Ordinary Caffeine Solution. Would definitely rebuy.

Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin C Serum

Still one of my favourite Vitamin C serum, it is effective and very stable compared to other vitamin c serum. Would highly recommend A++.

Sana Soy Milk Whitening Toner

I think I bought this long ago and can’t believe I finally used this up. It has a watery texture but I probably would not repurchase this again. I didn’t see a major difference after using this.

The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% +EGCG

Like mentioned above, I love this product especially with the use of butcher’s broom. Definitely, helped with my dark circle. I have already placed an order for this product. Would recommend if you have dark circles like me.
