I have tried a few products from the Beauty of Joseon before and I always left wanting more. Most products I tried from them were okay, but I never felt like I noticed a difference in my skin. I was pretty reluctant to try another product from the brand again since I saw little to no difference. But because so many people raving about their product, I decided to give it more more go and try out the Glow Deep Serum. Spoiler, I am glad I did. In this post, I will review the Beauty of Joseon Glow Deep Serum and why you might want to try it out.

Beauty of Joseon brand’s philosophy is that the natural beauty of one’s skin can be improved. How to Use

Apply on face and neck after cleansing and toning. Use a small amount and gently pat with palms or fingers, avoiding eye area. Once absorbed, follow up with next your other skincare products.

Beauty of Joseon – Glow Deep Serum for acne

The Beauty of Joseon Glow Deep Serum is good for all skin types, even for acne prone. It absorb quickly into the skin and doesn’t leave me skin feeling greasy. Since it is gentle and is pretty lightweight, I don’t think it would cause any acne. I am also acne-prone and I didn’t notice any acne while using the Glow Deep Serum.

If you look on Beauty of Joseon website they stated that Glow serum is designed to help clear acne-prone skin whereas the Glow Deep Serum focuses on tackling pigmentation and focused on brightening the skin.

Thoughts/ Review

Beauty of Joseon – Glow Deep Serum rice + alpha arbutin

I have tried the from Beauty of Joseon repair serum and I was not very  impressed with it. I didn’t really see any notable difference. However, the Glow Deep Serum is a different story. In short, I love it. 

The Beauty of Joseon Glow Deep Serum is a light weight serum that absorbs quickly into the skin.

I typically like any products with rice as the main ingredient. Especially love I’m from Rice Toner, whenever I use the I’m from Rice toner my skin always instantly brightens.

That being said I was still pleasantly surprised how much I loved the the BOJ Glow Deep Serum. I tried the revive serum and didn’t see much of a difference and was pretty much expecting the same from their glow serum.

However, that was not the case. My skin was brighter and glowier after using this deep glow serum. Almost similar effects like I’m from rice toner.

This is probably my favorite product from Beauty of Joseon, although I have only tried only 3 or 4 products from them. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants a brighter overall glow to their skin.

I would def buy this again.

Beauty of Joseon – Glow Deep Serum Before and After

Compared to the other Beauty of Joseon Serum, I definitely saw a difference in my skin. My skin ware notably brighter, while the other serums I did not see any difference.

Beauty of Joseon – Glow Deep Serum with retinol

I have been using the Glow Deep Serum with retinol in my nightly routine. Using retinol in conjunction with Glow Deep Serum, my skin looked pretty good. The serum did not further irritate my skin. Decent combo to use. That being said, the serum might not enough alone to moisturize your face if you are using a retinol. I would still use an additional moisturizer or at least a hydrating toner or emulsion ( like round lab toner or lotion).

Conclusion – Beauty of Joseon Glow Deep Serum review 

The Beauty of Joseon Glow Deep Serum is a great product to try out. As someone who loves rice products the Beauty of Joseon Glow Deep Serum did not let me down. It brightened my skin for a more glowier and healthier look. If you are still hesitant to try Beauty of Joseon products or don’t know what to try you have try the Glow Deep Serum.
