The Anua toner does not have BHA or niacinamide. However, is slightly acidic and contains Saccharum Officinarum which is similar to AHA, Glycolic Acid.  It is often claimed that Saccharum Officinarum can also exfoliate and brighten the skin.

Anua Toner is quite balanced. It is light enough for oily skin while still hydrating for dry skin.

However, like most watery toners it’s hydrating but not moisturizing. If your skin is feeling a bit tight it can relieve the tightness. But if you want something moisturizing, to relieve your dry and flaky skin you might need several layers.

That being said I still think It is quite hydrating. Enough for oily and normal skin. However, if you have super dry skin you might be better off with a nourishing toner like Im from Fig toner. Or something like Laneige Cream skin or Dr. Ceracule Toner.

However, if my skin is angry and needs something to soothe my skin it right away, I don’t think I would grab the Anua Toner. I would reach for the Dr Ceuracle Kombucha Toner instead. I find the Kombucha Toner soothes my skin right away while still moisturizing it. My go-to winter toner.
