Review Rovectin Conditioning Cleanser

The Rovectin Cleanser is a clear-like water gel cleanser. It has the right amount of slip. Not too slippery or too dry. It feels super gentle. Unlike a typical drugstore cleanser, this doesn’t leave my skin feel tight.

What is so great about this cleanser is that it emulsifies easily. Cleansers that emulsify easily is always a good sign of a good cleanser.  One thing that kind of bothers me, is the fact you need to have dry hands to use this cleanser. If you apply the cleanser with wet hands the cleanser already starts emulsifying. Making it rather ineffective when cleansing your face.

As for the claim that it smells like coconut oil, I can’t say I smell coconut at all. Instead, it kind of reminds me of a clean smell with a mix of linen. Slightly reminded me of a swimming pool with a hint of linen.

If you have fungal acne, I might skip this cleanser. It might work for you but I would be careful. I noticed some pimples after using it. I am not entirely sure if this cleanser was the cause but it would make sense it if has coconut oil.

Conclusion

Would I recommend the Rovectin Cleanser? Yes. The Rovectin conditioning cleanser is super gentle and won’t leave your skin feeling tight or dry, unlike most drugstore cleansers. It emulsifies well and leaves your skin feel soft and hydrated. It doesn’t smell strong or really smells like coconut. One thing I would be careful about is that it does contain coconut oil. If you have fungal acne, it might trigger your acne. Otherwise, I would recommend it for all skin types.
