I bought the Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum a while ago when I was back in Taiwan, I heard lots of great things about this moisturizers but honestly, I  did not reach for it until recently. I was very pleasantly surprised by how good it was.

It is my first time using an Innisfree product since Innisfree products are hard to come by in Canada. I think I did see it in my local supermart, T&T. I don’t know why I didn’t try it sooner since I always heard good things about Innisfree.

I know it’s bad… but I usually skip moisturizers. Don’t get me wrong it is not because I am lazy. Most of the time I already applied tons of essences, toners, oils, serum, and balms. The last thing  I need is an additional layer that could clog my pores. Especially since my skin tends to get whiteheads especially when I don’t use oil-free products. But recently, I have been getting dry patches around my mouth. I tried using my usual serums and other concoctions but none worked for my dry patches.  As my last resort, I decided to give the Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum a try.

The serum is in a green glass bottle with a pump. The serum is clear and has a watery texture. It has a subtle clean perfume smell. Not sure if I would say it smells like green tea but the smell doesn’t linger. It absorbs quickly into the skin without making it sticky.

This moisturizer was really effective against dry patches without being too heavy. Just after the first try, my dry patches disappeared right away. I would definitely repurchase again if I get dry patches. It is a wonderful winter staple, a must-have moisturizer.
