Thoughts/ Review
Round Lab Pine Calming Cica Ampoule Review
The Round Lab Pine Calming Cica Ampoule is okay but not amazing.
Honestly, for the price of their serum… I don’t think it is worth it.
Although I love the majority of the Round Lab products like the Round Lab 1025 Dokdo Toner and Lotion, you can probably skip the Round Lab Pine Cica Serum.
The Pine Serum is one of the pricier items made by the Round Lab. For me, the serum is just not worth it. I have used a better calming serum for a better price like the Axis-Y Serum.
As for the effectiveness, it was not able to calm down my irritation or calm down my acne. But it might be because I did not use it consistently. However, if you are looking for a product that will calm that angry pimple immediately or help your broken skin barrier I don’t think this is the product for you. My favorite combo to calm down irritated skin is mixing the Axis-y serum and Cosrx cica powder and putting that paste on my angry pimple. The next day the reddness and the size of my pimple significantly reduce.
It might be just me but this serum was not able to calm down my skin.
So basically:
-
- Okay serum
- Not effective compared to other calming serums
- Pricey

Calming Toner Comparison:
Round Lab Calming Cicia Ampoule vs Axis-y serum
Compared to the Round Lab Cica Serum, the Axis-y serum uses artichoke. Although they have different main ingredients they have similar textures. However, I have to say I prefer the Axis-y serum, as it is more calming and more affordable. I saw an immediate reduction in the size of my pimple and the redness. However, I did not see much difference when I used the Round Lab Pine Ampoule.

Conclusion – Round Lab Pine Calming Cica Ampoule Review
Would I repurchase? No. Although I usually love all things from Round Lab, I have to say you can probably skip the Round Lab Pine Calming Cica Ampoule. For me, I didn’t see any calming effects, and for the price, I don’t think it is worth it. Rather than the Round Lab Pine serum, I love the Round Lab toner and their lotion better. That being said I would recommend the Axis-Y serum to calm irritation. I found when I used the Axis-Y serum I saw immediate calming effects. I would also mix it with the Cosrx Cica Powder to create a paste and overnight my pimple is much smaller.
