I’m From Rice Toner Review

Today I am going to revisit one of my holy grail favorites, I’m From Rice Toner. I have not been able to get a hold of the I’m From Rice Toner for a while. Mainly because of my refusal to pay for duties lol. But really the increase in shipping cost is making really hard to give a hold of some of my favorite toners. Haha. Anyways in this post, I will review the I’m From Rice Toner and see if I still love this toner even after not using it for so long.

This toner used to be my HG toner. It is a great toner but since it is pretty hard to get a hold of the I’m From Rice Toner so I did not buy it for a while.

Since the last time I bought it, it seems like they changed the packaging from a glass bottle to a plastic one. It looks smaller as well but I don’t think the amount actually changed.

Brand info: I’m From

The brand I’m From is known for using natural ingredients to create effective skincare products to give your skin that glow. Their brand philosophy is to bring clean natural ingredients into each of their products. You won’t find fancy packaging in their products but they not are short in effectiveness.

I have tried three of their toner and love each one. If you are wondering if you should buy the I’m From Rice Toner or the I’m from mugwort toner check out my previous post reviewing all three I’m from toner: rice, fig, and mugwort.

I’m From Rice Toner Benefits

You might be wondering why rice toner? What does I’m From Rice Toner do? Does rice toner work? I know it is hard to imagine but rice is a great skincare ingredient. It is actually one of my all-time favorite skincare ingredients.

Rice is amazing because:
    • Rice has an amazing antiaging quality due to it: Rich in amino acids, antioxidants, and minerals which may slow down the skin aging process.
    • Ability to brighten the skin

I always found skincare products with rice were the most effective in brightening my skin. So if you have yet to try out a rice toner, this is your sign. 🙂

How to Use I’m From Rice Toner

If you are wondering when to use a toner or specifically when to use I’m from rice, it is usually after cleanser and before creams/ampoules.

It should be applied right after you have cleaned your face. Since toners are typically the thinnest, you want to use it first. If you use it after products that are thicker, it might not be able to penetrate into your skin.

Who Is It for – Skin Types Recommendation

What type of skin is the I’m From Rice Toner good for? Is it good for sensitive skin oily, dry, acne prone, or even people who are pregnant?

From my experience I’m From Rice Toner is good for all skin types, whether you are sensitive, oily, dry, acne prone, or even pregnant, you can use the I’m From Rice toner. The toner is super gentle and would not irritate your skin.

However, if you have really bad acne, I might suggest a calming toner or a balancing toner first. I’m From Rice Toner is so great because it helps brighten your complexion. However, if you have other skin conditions, like a broken skin barrier, you might want to work on that first.

My Review I’m from Rice Toner

After not using the I’m From Rice Toner for such a long time, I thought I would not like it anymore. However, right after I applied it I saw my skin brighten immediately just like the first time I used it. It is a great toner, I found it super light and hydrating great for summertime. I still highly recommend this toner.

Comparison

I’m from Rice Toner vs Laneige Cream Skin
      • There is a big difference between I’m From Rice Toner vs Laneige cream skin. Laneige cream skin creates a layer of moisturizer when you apply it to your skin. Whereas I’m From Rice Toner is a super light toner that helps you brighten your skin. I’m From Rice Toner does not create a layer of moisturizer like the Laniege Cream Skin. Although Laneige is more hydrating, I wouldn’t recommend either if you have super, super dry skin.

Instead: If you have dry skin I would recommend this toner, it is super nourishing and gives what your skin needs.

Alternatively: you can use a super affordable lightweight toner, and layer it a couple of times to achieve your desired hydration.

I’m From Rice Toner vs Mugwort Essence

I’m From Rice Toner vs Mugwort Essence is used for different skin concerns. I’m From Rice Toner is great for brightening while mugwort is great for calming. Depending on your skin needs I would pick accordingly. However both toners I’m From Rice Toner and Mugwort toner are both very light and could be used for all skin types.

I’m From Rice Toner vs Klairs Toner

I’m From Rice Toner vs Klairs toner are two hydrating toners. I’m From Rice Toner hydrating but not as hydrating as the Klairs toner.  The Klairs toner is the main ingredient is hyaluronic while I’m from rice toners the main ingredient is rice. I don’t partially like hyaluronic acid toners for hydrating as it could be finicky depending on where you live and how dry the air is. I also didn’t find the Klairs toner that great. It is a simple toner, with no frills, but also not that special.

Instead: If you want a simple toner that does a great job of balancing and calming why not try this toner?

Conclusion

Even after all this time, I’m From Rice is still a great toner. I would still highly recommend this toner if you want a toner to brighten your skin. Whenever my skin is looking a bit dull and needs a bit of pickup, I can already rely on I’m From Rice Toner.
