Round Lab Soybean Nourishing Toner Review

This post will be a Round Lab Soybean Nourishing Toner Review. First thing first, I love the brand Round Lab. They make one of the best toners for acne-prone skin. I know many of you are wondering if Round Lab is good? YES! It is one of my favorite Korean Skincare Brands. It is one of those brands that I would highly recommend trying out if you are new to Korean skincare.

It is not as well known as Cosrx, but DON’T sleep on the brand Round Lab! If you love gentle and effective skincare, Round Lab is a brand to definitely try out. I love their Round Lab 1025 Dokdo toner and it is my holy grail [You can read my Round Lab Dokdo Toner Review here]. They are most known for their Round Lab Birch Juice Line and Round Lab 1025 Dokdo Toner. Ever since falling in love with Round Lab 1025 Dokdo Toner, I thought I would try and review the Round Lab Soybean Nourishing Toner.

The Round Lab Soybean Toner claims

    • Ceramide provides nourishment to the skin
    • Adenosin helps improves wrinkles and provides nutrients to the skin.
    • Hydrates the skin while sealing in the moisture

Round Lab Dokdo vs nourishing soybean toner

My Thoughts Round Lab Soybean Nourishing vs Dokdo Toner

I thought I would love the Round Lab Soybean Toner since I love the original Round Lab Dokdo toner so much.

Unfortunately, I didn’t love it. Don’t get me wrong it is not a bad product. They have very similar textures, they both are very watery and very thin. The Round Lab Nourishing Toner is a bit thicker compared to the original Dokdo Toner, but only very slightly.

However, I didn’t find it super nourishing. If anything I only found it marginally more nourishing and hydrating compared to Dokdo.

Recently my skin was in a weird state, it might be mainly because the weather was changing OR maybe I am older now LOL. My skin was so dry no matter what I applied. I used The Round Lab Nourishing Toner hoping it would help relieve the dryness but it didn’t. So if you have super dry skin, I don’t think the round lab nourishing toner would only do so much for you. It might marginally more hydrating and nourishing compared to the original Dokdo 1025 Toner, but probably not enough for super dry skin.

Conclusion:

Would I recommend the Soybean Nourishing Toner? Maybe. Do I love it as much as the original Round Lab 1025 Dokdo toner?  Probably not? I like to use the Round Lab Dokdo Toner to bring my skin back to a normal state, it is a super gentle daily toner. If you love the Round Lab 1025, the Nourishing Soybean is worth the try. However, if you have super dry skin, hoping this would cure your dry skin, I don’t think this is the toner for you. I don’t think this would be moisturizing or hydrating enough for dry skin. If you have normal or oily skin but is slightly dry, this might be worth trying out. Overall a very nice product, but not as good as my HG Round Lab Nourishing Soybean Toner.
