klairs midnight blue cream review

I usually love Klairs products, but when I first tried the Klairs Midnight Blue Cream I was quite disappointed. I just didn’t get why everyone loved this cream so much. Was I the only one that didn’t like this cream? It took a while, but I FINALLY understand why everyone loves this cream. In this post, I will talk about what I learned, how to properly use it and finally Klairs Midnight Blue Cream Review.

What I thought of the Klairs Midnight Blue cream

The main reason why I didn’t like this cream is because it’s surprisingly rich. It looks like a lightweight moisturizer but it’s not. It contains many rich ingredients jojoba oil, argan oil, and even shea butter.

If you are like me, acne-prone and sometimes even fungal-acne prone this sounds like a nightmare. Not sure whats fungal acne? Check out my post here

The second reason why I didn’t like this product was because it didn’t immediately calm down my skin. Many people claimed that right after applying the product, they immediately see their skin calm down. I had irritated skin at a time (probably from over-exfoliation) and had slight eczema on my face, and I was expecting this cream to make a miracle happen. It didn’t. I was also expecting the Klaris Calming Cream to immediately get rid of my pimples. It didn’t. Long story short, this product works but don’t expect miracles immediately.

After trying out this product, I think I finally know how to use the product a little better.

What I learned & how to use the Klairs Midnight Blue Cream

1. It probably doesn’t help with eczema. Although this cream claims to help irritated skin like sunburns and post shaved skin, it didn’t help with my eczema. So don’t expect any eczema cures from this cream.

2. Use it when you feel a pimple about to form, but has yet to form. I found that it works best before the pimple has yet to form but you can still apply to pimple that has formed to reduce the scaring.

3. Don’t cake it on. I applied a think layer of Klairs Calming cream thinking it would work better. Don’t. It is a pretty think cream, it might clog up your skin and make more acne. Instead, use a thin layer and reapply as needed.

TIP: After many months of trying this product out, I think I have to come to like this cream. I can see why people rave about this product. If you were ever to buy this product, always go for the tube. The tube is more hygenic and more cost-saving.

If you are expecting miracles, don’t. I mean, this product is good but if you have severe acne, I might look for something else. It is designed to reduce redness and irritation. If you have severe acne you probably have bigger problems you might want to fix first. I highly suggest you try something calming and gentle like the I’m from Mugwort toner. Conclusion: Klairs Midnight Blue Cream Review

The Klairs Midnight Blue Cream is a good product. It is a great cream to reduce redness and irritation but don’t expect miracles overnight. I find that it reduces the size of the pimple in a couple of days but it is especially effective against acne that has yet to form but it also works great to reduce scarring. I would be careful especially if your skin doesn’t like heavy or oily products. P.S. Buy the bigger one! It is a much better deal!
