Dr.Ceuracle Rovectin Irritated Skin

Why Dr. Ceuracle Kombucha Toner and Rovectin Is Loved By Many

For the longest time, I did not understand why people love the Dr. Ceuracle toner or the Rovectin Cica Care Balm. So many people raved about these skincare products. But when I used them nothing happened. I didn’t see anything. No results, no difference. Not until… nothing worked for my irritated skin. Not even my HG toner, Round Lab Dokdo Toner could help me and my irritated and dehydrated winter skin. And everything clicked. The reason why I didn’t like the Dr. Ceuracle toner or the Rovectin Cica Care Balm was that my skin was healthy and didn’t need help. In this post, I will explain why I now love the Dr. Ceuracle toner and the Rovectin Cica Care Balm.

The products in question

Dr. Ceuracle Kombucha Toner

Dr. Ceuracle Kombucha toner is a bi-phase toner. Which means it absorbs like toner while also functioning as a moisturizing cream. It combines the fortifying abilities of kombucha tea extract with plant botanicals and nourishing seed oil to create a glowing, vibrant complexion.

Rovectin Cica Care Balm

The Rovectin Cica Care Balm is a balm designed for the most sensitive and irritated skin. It is designed to heal and hydrate skin that has been damaged from hormonal breakouts, age, and rosacea.  By soothing the skin it helps reduce the appearance of spots and scars.

Why I didn’t like these products before

My Skin Type

I to be honest had pretty balanced skin. I get one pimple here and there but overall not problematic skin. My skin was not particularly dry or particularly oily. A bit combo but mainly normal.

Why it Didn’t Work

Why the Dr. Ceuracle Kombucha toner didn’t work for my skin? Short answer, it wasn’t the right product for my skin type. Not yet anyway.

I usually like to use cica products as a preventative thing. If anything does happen my skincare acts as a backup. So my skincare products are usually geared toward sensitive and calming products. Even with my gentle products I usually see some sort of difference after using the product. When I used these products when my skin was balanced and healthy, that’s why I didn’t see any difference.

Not until winter came

My skin is usually pretty normal. But this winter with the combination of a dry and a cold room, my skin was beyond irritated and dehydrated. No matter what I used my skin was irritated. I used some of my gentlest products but my skin was inflamed, blotchy, red, and burned no matter what product I used.

Who these products are for

Perfect when your skin is irritated af and no matter what you are using, burns and irritates your skin. I tried all my go-to gentle/calming products and they all irritated my skin. Like a burning type of irritation. My go-to’s are usually gentle and but none of them worked. It felt like my skin was burning. After trying all my go-to on a whim I decided to use the products I never reach for aka the Dr. Ceriule Toner and Rovectin Cica Balm. Miraculously it did not sting. My skin was actually okay. And after using it my skin felt hydrated and instantly calmed.

So these products didn’t work for me because my skin was not irritated. However, if you have sensitive skin or irritated skin, these products are worth trying out.

What skincare routine helped my irritated skin

    • 2x Layers of Dr. Ceuracle Kombucha toner
    • 2 Layers of aloe gel
    • Rovectin Cica Care Balm
    • Aestura Ato Barrier 365 Cream

If my skin was still dry af: Aveeno eczema balm (never in my life would I thought I would apply this on my face)

After repeating this routine for 2 days I saw immediately my skin improved. It was not blotchy anymore. It was pretty much back to normal.

My Thoughts and Reflections

In my previous post, I said the Dr. Ceuracle Tea Toner was not worth the hype and I was wrong. Some disappointing products for you could be the most amazing product for the next person. It all depends on your skin type, your skin condition, and even your environment. You might love one product at one specific stage of your life but hate it at another. Maybe one day you will come to love your most disappointing product.  Like how I have come to love both the Dr. Ceuracle Kombucha toner and the Rovectin Cica Care Balm.
