under $20 fungal acne safe moisturizer

Having fungal acne is tough. Sometimes I just skip moisturizers because finding a fungal acne moisturizer is hard. Like super hard. Most of the time, they are super expensive or just you can’t find them anywhere. In this post, I will be reviewing some fungal acne safe moisturizers that are affordable and easily accessible.

I was lucky enough to receive some products from Jolse, to help write this post. This post isn’t sponsored, but with the help of Jolse, I was able to try out many fungal acne safe moisturizers at the same time while being able to compare which moisturizer is the best one.

If you haven’t heard of Jolse before, it is one of my currents go-to sites for Asian skincare. Usually, I would buy from YesStyle, but due to the current situation in the world, to get free shipping I have to spend a couple of hundred dollars and I just can’t justify the cost. Jolse ship to many countries and have frequent sales. Best of all Free Shipping and no customs! I would highly recommend Jolse regardless if I received any products or not.

Fungal Acne Safe Moisturizers

1. For All Skin Types: Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner $13

First Impressions: Although the Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner isn’t a moisturizer, It is super hydrating and nourishing. If you want a super hydrating toner as your sole moisturizer or as a layering product, I would highly recommend you try out this toner. Honestly, this is one of the most hydrating toners I have tried. I think I get why people always hype about PyunKang Yul now. My skin almost feels like mochi! Can’t recommend it enough!

2. For Irritated Skin Types: A’pieu Madecassoside 2x Cream $12

First Impressions: I have never tried their previous version of Madecassoide Cream, but this current version is a super lightweight cream. It is heavier than a gel moisturizer but also not too rich. One gripe I have about this cream…is the smell. It kind of reminds me of a public washroom smell, kind of citrusy, and somewhat sweet.  However, it doesn’t really linger so it shouldn’t be a deciding factor. I also really like the fact that it has many soothing and calming ingredients. I will update if helps calm my acne.

3. For Dry Skin Types: Innisfree Orchid Enriched Cream $19

First Impressions: This isn’t my first impression of the Innisfree Orchid Enriched Cream since I bought this cream before. It is crazy that I never knew it was fungal safe! It is a super moisturizing cream. I would highly recommend it for people who have skin on the drier side.  It is fragranced so if your skin is super sensitive you might not like it.

4. For Oliy Skin Types: Elizavecca Aqua Hyaluronic Acid Water Drop Cream $9

First Impressions:  The Elizavecca Water Drop Cream is a super light cream that almost feels like water. Probably one of the least moisturizing moisturizers from this group of moisturizers but it is still pretty moisturizing. However, I am not particularly fond of the smell. It smells like an old lady cream. If you ever tried goat milk cream or any type of cream for older skin types, you probably know what I mean. I probably wouldn’t purchase again.

5. For Acne Prone Skin Types: Iunik Centella Calming Gel Cream $11

First Impressions: The Iunik Centella Gel cream is a super lightweight gel-cream that also feels hydrating. It absorbs pretty fast into the skin as well. It isn’t fragranced, which is great for those who have sensitive skin. I also quite like that it has centella and tea tree, great ingredients for acne-prone skin types.

Conclusion: Fungal Acne Safe Moisturizers

These are all excellent fungal acne-safe moisturizers and would probably repurchase all of them again (maybe not the elizzavecca because of the smell). I love all of them but particularly the Pyunkang Yul Essence toner. It is nourishing but also very lightweight.

I can’t thank Jolse enough for supplying me with some fungal acne-safe moisturizer to make this post. Remember to check them out! They sell many great Asian skincare products and my favorite part, free shipping!

[…] Nope. If you have fungal acne, you are limited to a much narrower pool of products. In general, it will be harder to find products for dry skin. Most fungal acne safe products are not that heavy or deeply moisturizing. If you are looking for a moisturizer that works, check out my review where I test many fungal acne safe moisturizers and see which one is the best. […]
