Reviewing and Finding the Best: Centella Asiatica Skincare

I love the ingredient Centella, luckily many of these products are fungal acne-safe. Mainly because of their healing and calming attribute. There are so many centella asiatica skincare products on the market, and today I will review specifically review centalla asiatica skincare.

I have tried many centella asiatica skincare, like madecassoside, mugwort, artemisia, and other calming herbs. Although they have different names they are pretty similar. I think they all come from the same family of plants and help calm the skin. In this post, I will review all the Centella Asiatica skincare products and other Korean calming skincare I have tried out. I will let you know which product is the best Centella Asiatica skincare is worth it and which one isn’t.

Finding Good Centella Asiatica Skincare:

If you love Centella as much as I do, you probably love the calming and healing properties of centella. Centella Asiatica products are great products to try if you have sensitive or if you have acne-prone skin. I find it a helpful ingredient to help heal and calm active acne spots.

However, finding a good and effective Centella Asiatica skincare product is hard. Not only is finding a good centella is hard but most Centella products are expensive. This is mainly due to how much they have to extract to make one product. That’s why I thought a review of all the centella products and calming products together would be helpful.

Missha Artemisia Ampoule Review

I thought I would love the Missha Artemisia Amouple. Maybe it’s because they make the OG BB cream and I always had high regard for Missha. That’s why I had very high expectations for this Missha Artemisia Ampoule. Sadly, I didn’t really see any difference after using the Missha Artemisia Ampoule. Although it had Centella, I honestly didn’t see any difference after using this product. It’s an ampoule that absorbs relatively quickly but nothing special.

Would I Repurchase: No. I didn’t see any difference or any calming effect.

Overview:
      • Price: ~ $27
      • Rating: 3/5 – Decent but I wouldn’t run out and buy it
      • Repurchase? : No
      • Skin types: All skin types, esp for sensitive acne-prone skin
      • Where to buy: Yesstyle, Amazon, Jolse

Missha Artemisia Essence Review

Just like the Missha Artemisia Amouple, I didn’t see any difference after using the Missha Artemisia Essence. I saw no calming effect or anything special. It does have a very watery texture and doesn’t leave a sticky feeling.

Would I Repurchase: No. Just like the Missha Artemisia Amouple, I would not purchase the Missha Artemisia Essence again. It might be a good toner if your skin is super sensitive and looking for something that isn’t reactive. Personally, I would prefer the Bring Green Toner better.

Overview:
      • Price: ~ $35
      • Rating: 3/5 – Decent but won’t run out to buy
      • Repurchase? : Maybe
      • Skin types: All skin types, Great for sensitive or acne-prone skin
      • Where to buy: Yesstyle, Amazon, Jolse

Bring Green Artemisia Calming Toner Review

The Bring Green Artemisia Toner was an unexpected find. I have never heard anyone mention the brand Bring Green before but I was pleasantly surprised. This Bring Green Toner was super light and watery and I found it quite calming. If the product wasn’t effective, I think I would buy the product just for the scent. I love the scent so much. It has this herbally yet calming scent to it. It is hard to describe, it doesn’t smell like other Centella products I have tried. I think you would either hate the Bring Green Artemisia Toner or love it, and I’m the latter.

Would I Repurchase: Yes. If you love Centella Asiatica skincare, I would definitely try the Bring Green Artemisia Toner. I found it calming and I love the herbally scent. Highly recommend it if you have reactive or sensitive skin. If you have acne-prone skin, I would recommend you try this out.

Overview:
      • Price: ~ $18
      • Rating: 4.3/5 – l love it! It is calming and the calming scent is a bonus
      • Repurchase? : Yes!
      • Skin types: All skin types
      • Where to buy: Yesstyle, Amazon

Goodal Houttuynia Cordata Calming Essence and Goodal Houttuynia Cordata Moisture Cream Review

I was expecting many things from both the Goodal calming toner and Goodal calming moisture cream. Sadly, I didn’t see any difference in either the toner or moisture cream. I have tried serval products from Goodal and I think the products from Goodal aren’t effective on my skin. For most products that I have tried from Goodal, I have not seen any difference. It might be because it is super gentle and geared for super sensitive or reactive skin. If you have super sensitive or reactive skin, then Goodal calming toner and Goodal calming moisture cream might be good products to try out.

Would I Repurchase: No. I didn’t see much of a difference. However, I would recommend it for people who have super sensitive skin or over-exfoliated skin. I think people who have active breakout would really like the Goodal calming line.

Overview:
      • Price: ~ $30
      • Rating: 3/5 – Okay, its gentle.
      • Repurchase? : No
      • Skin types: All skin types
      • Where to buy: Yesstyle, Amazon, Jolse

Best Centella Asiatica Skincare: Iunik Centella Gel Cream Review

If you are looking for a fungal acne-safe Centella moisturizer or a Centella calming gel cream then Iunik Centella Gel Cream is the gel for you. The Iunik Centella Gel Cream is one of my favorite fungal acne-safe moisturizers. It is a gel moisturizer so it is very lightweight. It is perfect for anyone who has oily or acne-prone skin. If you have super sensitive skin or active break out, I believe this is gentle enough so it won’t sensitize your skin. I highly recommend trying out the Iunik Centella gel calming cream if you have acne-prone skin.

Would I Repurchase: Yes. The Iunik Centella gel calming cream is a gentle gel moisturizer for acne-prone skin. I love to put this on my active acne since many acne products are not fungal acne-safe and would trigger my fungal acne. Which then makes my acne even worst. That’s why it is nice that Iunik Centella Gel Cream is fungal acne safe while helping with my acne.

Celimax The Real noni energy ampoule Review

After seeing the Celimax Noni Ampoule on the best-selling list for a long time, I thought I would give the Celimax Noni Ampoule a try. Sadly, I did not see any difference after using this product. After some research, the Celimax Noni Ampoule doesn’t actually have centella in it. Instead, it contains “noni”, which claims to help calm the skin. You would think that because it is green you would think it would have Centella astaicia, but sadly it does not have centella. Either way, I didn’t really like the Celimax Noni Ampoule. I didn’t see any major difference. Although it is green, I didn’t find it very calming.

Would I Repurchase: No. I didn’t really see any difference after using the Celimax Noni Ampoule.

Overview:
    • Price: ~ $23
    • Rating: 3/5 – Okay, I didn’t see a big difference after using it

    • Where to buy: Yesstyle, Amazon, Jolse

Conclusion: Centella Asiatica Skincare

Yes, finding a good Centella calming toner is hard. If it works are you supposed to see a big difference? It also doesn’t help that most of them are expensive. Although there are many centella asiatica in the market, many of them aren’t that great. Some of my favorites that I recommend trying out include the Bring Green Toner and the Iunik Centella Gel Cream.
