Should you buy a fungal acne safe cleanser?
You might be looking for a fungal acne safe cleanser. But I am going to tell you, you might actually not need a fungal acne safe cleaner. In this short post, I will tell you why you might not need a fungal acne safe cleanser.
My Experience
Although this is just my experience and you have no reason to believe me since I don’t have any scientific journal to support my claim. BUT. Trust me on this one. I truly believe that any cleanser would be safe for your skin. Why you might ask?
1.You Wash It Off
All cleansers whether it is oil, cream, gel, or balms all get washed off. Rarely do you leave the cleanser for an extended period of time, to allow the fungal acne to feed on the cleanser.
2. Cleansers Has Have Never Triggered FA
Although I buy fungal acne-safe products, never have I actively searched for a fungal acne safe cleanser. I have never experienced any fungal acne from using any oil cleansers, balms, or any type of cleanser. As long as my other beauty products are fungal acne-safe products, I have never developed any fungal acne.
3. Oil Cleansers Might Actually Help
Although fungal acne feeds on oils, it might be okay to use oil cleansers since oil cleansers remove the oil in your pore.
Instead, You Should…
Rather than looking for a fungal acne safe cleanser, it might be worth looking for a cleanser that has salicylic acid and doesn’t strip your skin.
By using a cleanser that contains salicylic acid, it could help exfoliate the dead skin to help with your acne.
Some cleansers you might want to try: Wishtrend Acid Duo Cleanser, Vichy Gel Cleanser, or the Cerave Salicylic Acid Cleanser (aka the elusive cleanser that is always out of stock).
