When I saw that a mask had both snail extract and it was also a hydrogel mask, I just had to get it. Like what else can a girl ask for? My obsession with snail products all started with Cosrx Snail Mucin Essence . Snail extract is helpful for hydrating your skin and repairing your skin, especially acne scars. Pair it with a hydrogel mask and you are all set. That is why I so happy about finding this mask, the Mask House Celebrity snail mask.
What are hydrogels?
For those who aren’t familiar with hydrogels, they are the upgraded versions of cotton masks. Hydrogel masks are essentially thickened essence in a gel form. Since it is in a gel form, there will be no drippy mess. With its unique texture, it is able to lock in moisture for longer, without sliding off your face.
I originally thought this mask looked a bit gimmicky, I honestly thought it looked like a sketchy Chinese mask. Strangely enough, it is a Korean brand. Not saying that Chinese mask are bad, I even have a few Chinese masks that are my holy grail. According to their website, this mask is quite famous among celebrities and bloggers.
What I thought
The Celebrity snail masks comes in threes. You get two parts. One for the upper part of your face and the bottom part of the face. The mask isn’t clear it is kind of opaque white.
The Celebrity snail mask fitted quite well on my face but not as well like on the blogger they featured. Some part of the mask didn’t perfectly adhere to my face mainly where my baby hairs were. Other than a few parts, it fitted quite nicely. As you wear your mask, the hydrogel slowly blends into your skin, looking like one.
I didn’t expect much from this mask, but WOW. I love the celebrity snail mask. It managed to brighten my face immediately. Not only was it brightened, but my face also looked so glowy and hydrated.
Here is a before and after picture I took. It wasn’t very noticeable since I used a mask a day before, but you can still see that my face is a little brighter.
Would I Repurchase the celebrity snail mask?
Heck yes! If I could, I would stock up as many Celebrity snail masks as I can. Pretty sad that only 3 sheet mask comes in a box, which could be a little pricey. Other than that I see no other downside. This mask is a must try. My face just glowed, for days. Just a must buy mask, period.
