My Thought / AXIS Y Glow Serum Review
The axis-y glow correcting serum is a good light-weight serum, but I have to say it’s not my favorite brightening serum.
The main problem is…
Only If You Like Niacinamide
You will probably like this if your skin likes or react well to niacinamide.
In general, my skin doesn’t react to niacinamide at all. Whenever I use any products that are niacinamide focused my skin has little to zero difference after using niacinamide.
And Axis-Y Glow Serum was … no different.
My skin tends to react well is anything rice, arbutin, and fermented and the axis-y spot correcting serum just didn’t have any of my favorite ingredients.
That’s not to say I don’t like any products that contain niacinamide, it’s just that if the only active ingredient is niacinamide, I probably won’t see a difference. For the Axis-Y Glow Serum I saw no difference in pore size or brightness of my skin.
What I Recommend Instead
My current favorite niacinamide toner or toner for pores is the Numbuzin no 3 toner. While my favorite toner for brightening is I’m from rice toner. While my favorite serum is the Beauty of Joseon serum.
Overall not a bad serum. A good light-weight serum that absorbs quickly into the skin. Not my favorite serum as it’s niacinamide focus and I didn’t see any difference. You can use the axis y serum everyday. I think it is pretty gentle enough to be used everyday.

Conclusion: Axis-Y Dark Spot Correcting Serum Review
Overall the Axis-Y Dark Spot Correcting Serum is a decent serum. Personally, I didn’t see any difference in my skin. It is mainly because my skin doesn’t react to niacinamide. I usually see zero to no difference when I use products with niacinamide. However, if you know you like niacinamide, this serum is worth trying out. However, for me, I think I much prefer their barrier serum. For pore size, I prefer the Numbuzin toner (of course retinol as well) and this rice serum for brightening.
