Numbuzin No.3 Porcelain Base-skip Tone Up Beige

After loving all the products that I tried from my recent review on the numbuzin no 3 line [review here] I thought the next best product to try out would be the numbuzin Tone Up Cream. In this post, I will review the Numbuzin No.3 Porcelain Tone Up Cream.

The Brand Numbuzin

If you have never heard of the brand Numbuzun, it’s a trending Korean brand. It is mostly known for its no 3 line. It is a brand quite similar to The Ordinary, dare I say Numbuzin is like the Korean version of The Ordinary.

Just like The Ordinary, the brand Numbuzin is a brand that focuses on skin concerns rather than non flashy marketing. Both brands allow you to customize depending on your skin concern.

BUT. I would say Numbuzain is a step above The Ordinary.

The Ordinary is known for having one single ingredient and you pick and choose depending on your skin concern. However, with Numbuzin you do not need to fry your brain thinking about which ingredient to use. Numbuzin has already curated the best ingredient depending on your main skin concern.

Why I Love the Numbuzin no. 3 Line

If you have not tried the Numbuzin no. 3 toner, Numbuzin mask, or Numbuzin softening serum, this is your sign to buy it! I love all the products from the no. 3 line, but especially their sheet mask. The Numbuzin no 3 line is designed for people who have skin texture concerns.  It is especially great if you have any skin texture or tiny bumps, I highly recommend trying out the Numbuzin no. 3 line.

How Best to Apply BB Cream/ Tone Up Cream

Although it is a tone up cream, you apply it just like a bb cream. You just only use a tiny bit and for the best results, it is best to apply with your hands.

Do not use too much or else it will look less natural.

Swatch of Numbuzin Tone up Cream

Above it is a swatch of the Numbuzin No 3 Base Skip Tone Up Beige Cream. When blended it almost melts into the skin. I didn’t find it too light for my skin.

My Thoughts on the Numbuzin No.3 Porcelain Tone Up Cream

It is a decent tone up cream. I don’t tend to buy tone up creams, mainly because I don’t want a white face and a dark neck. Not really my ideal look. However, this toneup cream did blend in with my skin well. It was not too bright that I looked like a ghost. Just a touch more even and brighter. However, if you have tan skin, it might be harder to blend in.

One thing that I like about it, is the bonus sunscreen protection. Great if you hate sunscreen. However, you should never really rely on your foundation for sun protection. Typically you aren’t applying enough foundation in order to get sun protection.

Here is a picture of me with the numbuzin tone up cream. Although I don’t like showing my no make-up face, I thought it would be helpful to you TT_TT.  As you can see it doesn’t have much coverage,  but you can see it brightened my overall skin and made it glowier.

Overall, I think the Numbuzin Tone up Cream is a good option if you want a quick no-makeup look. It is easy to use. A great option if you want to just quickly apply and run out the door.

It leaves your skin looking more even, with a slight glow. However, if you have any scars, freckles, or hyperpigmentation, this Tone Up cream will not cover them. You might need to use additional concealer to cover any acne.

Overview:
  • Price: ~ $15-20
  • Rating: 3.7
  • Repurchase? : Maybe, perfect if you want something to even your skin
  • Skin types: All Skintype
  • Made my fungal acne worst? Not that I noticed
  • Where to buy: YesStyle, Amazon

Conclusion: Numbuzin No.3 Porcelain Tone Up Cream Review

Do I love it? Maybe. I think it is an okay tone up cream but I honestly need more coverage.  I have lots of acne scars and freckles and the Numbuzin No. 3 Tone Up Cream was not able to cover them. However, I think it’s a great foundation if you are feeling a bit lazy or tight on time. It leaves your skin looking a bit brighter, glowier, and more even.
