Fungal Acne Safe Cleanser: Etude House Whip
Yes, in my previous I did say that you probably don’t need a fungal acne cleanser {here}. Regardless of what I say, I know there will be people who want a fungal acne cleanser anyway. There are tons of fungal acne-safe cleansers in the market and of the countless options, I decided to buy the Etude House Soon Jung Whip Cleanser. In this post, I will list some Asian fungal acne-safe cleanser options but also review the Etude House Whip Cleanser.
Other Fungal Acne Cleansers To Try Out
Sadly, the Reddit post that I usually refer to for fungal acne-safe products got deleted. You can still go through the comments and see what products are safe {here} but here is just a snippet of the list I managed to save. I will probably review all these cleansers listed eventually, so stay tuned!
Possible Fungal Acne Safe Cleansers Options
- Curel Makeup Cleansing Gel $18
- Purito Defense Barrier pH Cleanser $15
- Primera Soothing Sensitive Gel Cleanser $20
- Etude House Cica Balance 5.5 Gel Cleanser $13
- Rovectin Skin Essentials Conditioning Cleanser $13
- Illiyoon Probiotics Skin Barrier Gentle Cleanser $14
- Bring Green Artemisia pH Balance Cleansing Foam $16
What’s So Special About Etude House Whip Cleanser?
The Etude House Soon Jung Whip Cleanser is a gentle and minimal cleanser. It is a foam type cleanser that contains great ingredients like panthenol (which delivers hydration) and madecassoside (calms and repairs the skin).
Texture
As the name claim, it has a whipped texture. Unlike the famous Senka foam cleanser, the Etude House Soon Jung Whip Cleanser is a very light foam. It feels super gentle and lightweight. The Senka foam cleanser, felt denser, and more marshmallowy?
That being said, I don’t recommend the Etude House Whip Cleanser to remove any type of makeup or sunscreen. However, I would recommend it as a morning cleanser or if you have super sensitive skin.
What I Thought
The cleanser is super gentle and lightweight. Personally, I find it too gentle. I don’t think it can clean your skin well, especially if you wear makeup or sunscreen.
However, I think it would work for you if you have super sensitive skin or if you don’t wear any tough to remove sunscreen/ makeup. The Etude House Soon Jung Cleanser is best used in the morning as a gentle morning cleanser.
Conclusion
Do I hate the Etude House Whip cleanser? No, it is a decent cleanser. It’s a minimal cleanser that gently cleanses your face. Not more, not less. Would I buy it again? Probably not. It is best to use it in the morning or if your skin is just super irritated or sensitive but not if you need to remove anything else.
