Cosrx is one of my favorite Korean beauty brand. Cosrx is known to have effective yet affordable products. After buying and trying so many products and here is a list of what I thought of each item and what to buy from Cosrx.
What I bought and what to buy from Cosrx
cosrx acne pimple master patch $5
You might think that all pimple patches are the same but trust me, they aren’t. I have tried some from Nexcare and random ones from Asia. The Cosrx Acne Pimple Master Patch is by far the best pimple patch. Unlike the other pimple patches, the Cosrx pimple patches really stick to your face. Most of the time when I use other brands of pimple patches I would wake up to find out my pimple patch has fallen off. BUT when I use the Cosrx pimple patch it would still be on my face. Even when I had to wash my face the patch would be still on my face. Def recommend!
Cosrx Centella Blemish Balm $21
This is one of my favorite acne product from Cosrx. The Cosrx Centella Blemish Balm contains the amazing ingredient Centella. It is a great ingredient, especially for skin repairing and acne scars. The texture is a little thick and balmy but I love how healing and effective it is. Just don’t expect the immediate results. I haven’t tried the Cosrx Centella Water Toner but I wouldn’t expect anything less from the toner. I would def try the toner if I get the chance but if you don’t like the feeling of things on your skin I would recommend the Centella Toner. I mean…If it has Centella in it, I am in! corsx overnight rice mask $18
I like to use the Cosrx Overnight Rice Mask when my face is a little dull and needs a bit brightening. Although I can’t use this every night, especially since my skin gets congested very easily but I quite like the brightening effect. Want other brightening products? Two in One pOreless Power Liquid $22
Honestly, most toners from Cosrx that are for the pores ie whiteheads or blackheads toner, none of them worked for me. The thing is most exfoliating Cosrx products contain low percentages of AHA or BHA, most formulations are lower than 0.5%. That is why I probably didn’t notice any dramatic difference. However, if you have sensitive skin Cosrx Two in One Poreless Power Liquid might be the product for you. If you don’t mind slow but gentle results pick up the Two in One Poreless Power Liquid.
Advanced Snail 96 mucin Power Essence $21
I love Cosrx Snail Mucin products like their moisturizer, Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream and their toner, Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence. Like Centella, Snail mucin has great healing properties. I especially love their Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream, after using it my skin looked so healthy and glowy. These mucin products from Cosrx is probably why I love snail products so much. Like snail product? A sol returning solution $19
Cosrx A Sol Returning Solution is one product that I will always repurchase from Cosrx. It is a great product for acne prone skin, it isn’t too harsh but it is effective. I would highly recommend for acne prone skin. If you are deciding what to buy from Cosrx and you are prone to acne, this is definitely a must buy.
Salicylic Acid Daily Gentle Cleanser $10
I might be the only one in the world that doesn’t like the Salicylic Acid Daily Gentle Cleanser. I have never heard anyone talking bad about this cleanser. For me … I just didn’t like it. There are so many people recommending cleansers from Cosrx so I had very high expectations. BUT one thing I think cleansers shouldn’t do is stinging your eyes. And this product stung my eyes a lot.
One Step Original Clear Pads $20
This is an okay product. Cosrx One Step original Clear Pads is a basic product that is convenient to use. If you are new to skincare, I would probably recommend this product, but if you have are a skincare junkie like me, I would probably skip this. It contains basic ingredients which are found in most toners.
Galactomyces 95 Tone Balancing Essence $20
Cosrx Galactmyces 95 Essence is a brightening toner that many claims to be a dupe of the SKII toner. To be Honest, after using this I didn’t see that much of a difference. I would much rather use my Secret Key Rose Toner. I saw an immediate difference after using the Secret Key Toner.
AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid $19/BHA blackhead power liquid $22
I tried these toners quite a while ago, but I remember that after using this my blackheads and white head still remained. Not really sure if my whiteheads/blackheads are really stubborn or I am just using it wrong. For now not my fav product from Cosrx.
centella blemish ampule $20
More Centella products! Do you see a trend? Just like the other products, I bought this to help with my acne scars. Just like the blemish balm I quite like the healing abilities of Centella. This version is much lighter. If you prefer a lighter texture I would recommend this one.
Conclusion
All in all, Cosrx have some great products that are affordable and effective. You really can’t go wrong. I would definitely recommend their Snail Mucin products and their Centella products. If you have acne-prone skin, their pimple patch is a much try. I really hope this post helped you decide what to buy from Cosrx.
