What to buy from Too Cool for School
Shopping in Korea was an experience I could not forget. I heard a lot about Korea before going, but nothing could prepare me for this. Every block was jam-packed with tons of shops with skincare and makeup. It is so saturated that you can find the same stores on the same block. It was basically, Paradise.
I knew I had to go to Too Cool for School since I really wanted to pick up their famous Pumpkin Sleeping Pack. Since there was so many of the same store, I was able to grab one even though it was sold out in some locations. Luckily when I went they were having a promotion: buy one get one free. I almost bought everything, it didn’t help that the shop I went to the shopkeeper was super helpful. I wanted to buy more but I stopped by Innisfree earlier and there was barely any room left for anything else.
Too Cool for School Sleeping masks
The first thing I picked up was their face masks. I grabbed their Fresh Gore Sleeping Pack {review} and of course their famous Pumpkin Sleeping Pack. Although they are both from the same brand, they have very different textures. The Pumpkin Sleeping Pack has a silky texture with a nice light scent, the kind that Biotherm products have. The Fresh Gore Sleeping Pack, on the other hand, has a jello texture, with a light scent that was barely noticeable. I tested out the Pumpkin Sleeping Pask for only 10 minutes to test it out and my face was already super soft. The Fresh Gore Sleeping Pack was okay, but if you had to pick only one mask I would just get the Pumpkin Sleeping Pack.
Too Cool for School Blushes
I also grabbed some makeup as well. For the blush, I picked up their Jelly Blushers in the shade 06 Rose Mousse and 03 Peach Nectar. The blush was a little bit squishy, similar to the Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blushes. Just like the Maybelline blushes, it wasn’t super pigmented. However, I love that there is no way you can overdo the blush (which I usually do). I love the shade 06 Rose Shade, it is a nice dusty rose for everyday wear. These blushes have a little bit of shimmer, but it is not too noticeable.
Too Cool for School lip tints
Too Cool for School Vivid Lip Tints are great as well. I love their cute but simplistic packaging. The tint was a little bit glossy, but not too much. I grabbed the shade 04 Rosa and 06 Viola. I love the shade Rosa, a nice pinky shade great MLBB shade. It isn’t very long wearing but I don’t mind reapplying it. The shade 06 Viola was a little deeper, but I kind of like the vampy look.
Too Cool for School Contour
One thing I forgot to take a picture of is the Too Cool for School Art Class by Rodin Shading. I love this shading compact, it’s not too pigmented or too orangey. It is perfect for nose contour or even shading around the face. Great for pale to medium complexions.
Conclusion
If you are ever in Korea, I would definitely recommend grabbing the Too Cool for School Pumpkin Sleeping Pack, and the Too Cool for School Art Class by Rodin Shading Compact. The sleeping mask instantly makes your skin softer, while the shading compact has the right shade and pigmentation for contouring. However, their make up products aren’t bad either. I wouldn’t mind picking up more of their lip tints.
