What to Buy From Japan

Japan is  a bustling country, on every corner is something different. Whether you in Tokyo, Kyoto or just getting off the next train stop there so much to explore. Whether it’s your first time in Japan or if your a seasonal Japan traveler. I made a list of what you should buy from Japan.

Beauty

1.Shiseido Fino Premium Touch Essence Hair Mask

Shiseido Fino Premium Touch Essence Hair Mask - 230g

Little did I know this little jar of hair mask would be a miracle in a jar. With just a bit your hair can go from damaged to soft and healthy looking. I am not sure what is inside this jar of miracle but I would recommend you to stock up on this hair mask.

2. Shiseido Spotcover Foundation

If you are looking for heavy duty concealer, look no further. This concealer is very pigmented and it will cover the most stubborn spot. I bought the shade 00 which is a tad too light for my skin however it is still great for highlighting the face. If you have light-medium skin tone as I do, S100 is the perfect shade for you.

3. Hair Dye

If you usually dye your own hair on a regular basis, I would I recommend you to stock up on hair dyes. Here in Vancouver we have limited selections and the prices can be 3x the amount compared to Japan. When I was in Japan I bought Liese Prettia Ash Brown, although Prettia isn’t  exclusive only to Japan but here in Vancouver for some odd reason they don’t sell the color Ash Brown; that or either its always sold out. If I had to decide which  box dye has the best ash color t it would be Prettia. It’s a nice ash brown color, not too green and not too dark but sadly it did fade quite fast.

Food

5. Matcha Tiramisu Chocolate

If you love matcha, you must try this! It a almond covered in matcha white chocolate. It’s quite pricey but very addictive. There is also a cocoa version! I didn’t try the cocoa one since I prefer white chocolate. In my opinion this is a great souvenir to bring back home, much better than the Tokyo banana.

6. Morinaga Milk Pudding

If you have to try a pudding, I would definitely try this one. Its different than the typical pudding with caramel on the top. It has a subtle milk flavor which is quite nice. If you prefer the normal pudding try out this brand as well, my friend loved it.

7. Royce Chocolate – Nama Chocolate

I would recommend you buy this at the airport as you are going back home, as it is cheaper. It a smooth chocolate that melts in your mouth, which is so wonderfully delicious.  Another great souvenir to bring back home.

Misc.

8. Fujifilm Instax Mini Film

Sincerly,
