Korean Skincare Haul
Recently I did some damage at Wishtrend but Wishtrend was kind enough to also send me some items to let you guys know they had revamped the whole site.
Honestly, I don’t know what I was thinking when I made the haul. I have been on a no-buy year but that had sadly gone down the drain. I think I have more skincare to last me another year. SMH.
This is all happened because I was very tempted by the rocket deal they had with Eunice. The set had all these calming products that I needed at the time.
I was using the PCA Skin Pigment Bar and it was peeling my skin like crazy. Me, being the person who just can’t stand dry peeling skin. I HAD to peel the skin. Which was a BAD idea. In the end, my skin was left raw, irritated and exposed. So that was why I was in desperate need of calming products, hence this giant haul ( for me anyways).
Revamp site = better experience
To be honest, I usually buy products like Klairs, I’m From or just anything that Wishtrend carries. I tend to buy off Yesstyle. Even with some of their very tempting deals I never thought about ordering from their site.
It wasn’t because their deals weren’t tempting. They were. I just really just don’t like paying duties. I heard and read so many reviews saying that if you order from Wishtrend you get charged with duties especially with DHL and I have been charged before (even with PR).
BUT after their revamped site, I think we, Canadians don’t get charged duties anymore (since both deliveries {one on a new customer account} the DHL dude just left the package at the door and didn’t charge me anything). Which means I probably will be ordering from them again ( kind of scared for my wallet for their Black Friday sale).
Update: While I was writing this post, I got a sneak preview of their Black Friday Sale and thought I should share and yes, my wallet is still sacred.

Klaris Calming Cream
I mainly made this haul because of this product, the Klairs Midnight Calming Cream. I knew Wishtrend was going to send this product but I needed this product asap, so I ordered another one as well. Now I have two bottles….and one more from YesStyle. What have I done? LOL
I heard a lot about this product and me being acne-prone, I thought it would be perfect for me. Also since my skin was raw irritated at that time, I really wanted to try this product out.
In the end, I don’t think it helped my super raw, exposed irritated skin but that is understandable. Kinda my fault. It might have reduced the scarring.. but who knows for sure? I really don’t know if I like this product yet, but I will update this if I do end up liking it.
by Wishtrend propolis serum
This was also part of the rocket deal. I have tried out this serum before {read my review here}. It’s a hydrating serum. Perfect if you want that dewy look. My skin always looks super hydrated and dewy after using it. When I had fungal acne, this was super helpful. Most products that are fungal acne safe aren’t very moisturizing.
BY Wishtrend green tea enzyme cleanser
I wasn’t expecting much from the Wishtrend Green Tea Enzyme Cleanser but, MY. GOD. I love this cleanser way more than their pink acid duo cleanser. It is super gentle and it smells like ACTUAL matcha!
Unlike other exfoliators, this isn’t abrasive at all. Once you mix water to the cleanser, you can not feel any grainy texture at all. Plus it isn’t drying. A def recommendation.
BY Wishtrend Acid duo cleanser
This cleanser came with the rocket deal as well. I tried the By Wishtrend Acid Duo cleanser {you can read my review here} before and I remembered it was a basic cleaner. If you are looking for a cleanser that contains salicylic acid and that also doesn’t dry out your skin, this is a good cleanser to try out.
Personally, it is not my favorite. Mainly, because the last time I had this my pump was defective (sometimes pumped, sometimes didn’t) and that it stung my eyes a little bit. You might like it more if you don’t have sensitive eyes like me or if you are super careful when you was your face.
I’m from rice toner
Wishtrend was kind enough to send me the I’m from Rice Toner, and if you haven’t already ready read my rave review about this toner {read it there}. In short, I love this toner. I am very grateful that they sent me another one as I just finished using up this one. Every time after using it, it makes my skin more bright, hydrated and soft. Honestly what more can you ask for? Def a favorite and would repurchase.
I’m from Mugwort essence
This was another product I wanted to try out, due to my irritated skin. I know mugwort is the new “it” ingredient and…was supposedly super calming. In my head, I thought this might calm down my super irritated and raw skin.
I was expecting a lot from this Mugwort Essence, especially since I love the I’m from Rice Toner a lot. But…I honestly didn’t see any difference. It probably isn’t formulated to help calm exposed, irritated skin so I can’t really blame it.
I can’t really give an accurate review as my skin isn’t usually isn’t super sensitive nor super irritated. Would I recommend it? Not really. It is pricey. Unless you have super irritated and sensitive skin, I won’t be running to buy this anytime soon. I would recommend you sticking to the I’m from Rice toner.
I have heard a lot about this Klairs sunscreen and now I know why. This sunscreen is fricken GOOD. It basically feels like putting a lotion with ZERO white cast. This might even give my HG Biore watery sunscreen a run for its money.
Unlike the Biore watery sunscreen, the Klairs sunscreen doesn’t have a scent at all. However, the Klairs sunscreen is a little bit pricier than the Biore sunscreen. I probably will stick with my Hg Biore sunscreen. if you really don’t like the alcohol in the Biore sunscreen, you should definitely buy try out the Klairs sunscreen. I highly recommend A++.

klairs vit c mask
I bought the full-sized one Klairs Vitamin C Mask before and the rocket deal came with sample size. My regular sized one lasted me forever. Do I think it is a must buy? No. But it is a great add on if you want to wake up with more hydrated and brighter skin.
Masks
Klairs Midnight Mask and white. I quite like these masks but especially the Midnight Blue Calming Mask. Personally, the Midnight Blue one worked a little better for my irritated acne-prone skin than the Rich Moist Soothing Mask. I honestly thought I would like the white one better as it contains more Centella but I guess not. I might do I review comparing the two later.
Mugwort Mask– Similarly to the I’m From Mugwort Essence I am still unsure about this product. As mentioned earlier my skin isn’t super sensitive nor super irritated so I didn’t notice anything different. I would probably skip this mask.
Conclusion
Their new revamped site is more user-friendly and provides a better shipping experience (especially regarding duties). If you plan to do a haul, I highly recommend you try out the Klairs sunscreen and the Wishtrend Green Tea Cleanser. If you want, you can use my affiliate link for a 10% discount {here}.
