How I Got Rid Of My Subclincal Acne
Sorry I haven’t posted in a while, but after coming back from a 2 month long trip to Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan my skin went a little haywire. Little did I know I had developed a special acne called subclinical acne while I was traveling.
When I came back I think scared my family a little bit. My skin was in a terrible state, my hair color has faded into a appalling shade of orange and I was the most tan I have been in my life. I definitely came back looking like a pimply oompa loompa. The pimples that covered my face were not just any normal pimples. They were flesh colored and they weren’t really visible unless directly under the light. Just like any other person I googled what they were and upon my research I stumbled on a picture that had the exactly the same thing as me {here}. I found out my acne was called subclinical acne.
Although I did not follow the same regime as Aneysha, her post definitely help me get towards the right path to clearer skin.
Here is what I did to clear up my subclinical acne:
Stop with your current skin regime
Did you add anything new to your skin routine? When I went traveling I ran out of my normal cleansing oil and resorted to a random cleansing oil that I bought. After I had stop using that cleansing oil my skin had significantly cleared up. Looking back that cleansing oil definitely contained mineral oil.
Don’t use anything too oily
Okay. If you didnt add anything new, it might one of your pre-existing skin care product. Not sure which one? Try checking your cleansing oil or a moisturizer you use. Check the ingredients if it contains any mineral oil or other types of oil. Still not sure? Switch to a oil-free type of cleansing oil and moisturizer.
Make sure your product absorb quickly
Instead of letting the products just sit on top of your skin and hoping the products magically absorb into the skin. I discovered a really helpful tip that could make sure the products absorb into the skin immediately . Right after your shower or wash your face, apply you skin products right away. After getting out of the shower is when your skin is the most driest and its most acceptable to absorbing the products.
Gently pat your face
Have you ever watch a Korean commercials and wondered why they always pat their face? My theory is that with the warmth of your hands and gentle stimulus, it helps with the absorption of the product into your skin. I mean those Koreans must a secret to their beautiful skin.
It definitely took a month for my skin to clear up. Be patient. With these tips I hope your subclinical acne clears up just like mines did.
Sincerely,
Michelle
