I don’t know about you but I have always wanted to try masks from the brand OOZOO. They always make really cool trendy masks like their Syringe Mask, Bear Mask and the one that I will be reviewing, the 3D capsule one. The OOZOO capsule mask – the Power Capsule and the Fresh Capsule.
What is so special about these OOZOO capsule masks?
These masks store the mask solution in a 3D capsule to keep the mask fresh. By pressing the 3D capsule you activate the ingredients only when you are about to use the mask. In general, most actives are unstable, by allowing the actives to be in a dormant until you use the mask means you only use the mask when it’s the most effective.
how to use these OOZOO capsule masks
Since these masks are a little different from other masks, I thought I would include some instructions:
1. To use the mask, you first press the capsule, making sure you fully burst the 3D capsule.
2. After bursting the capsule, make sure you massage the pouch thoroughly, so all the serum is spread evenly throughout the mask.
3. Then just like a normal mask, place the mask on face and wait 10-20 min and remove the mask.

Who is it for?
For tired, dull and dry skin. It claims to help create a moisture barrier to keep your skin hydrated to eventually achieve clear and healthy skin.

The Capsule
There are three parts to the capsule:
The pink part: It contains passion fruit oil, to help nourish the skin while soothing the skin
The yellow part: It contains coconut oil and sunflower seed oil to soothe and help build the skin’s inner and outer barrier
The clear part aka boosting ampule: Helps form the protective film to help keep the capsule in a stable and pure state
The capsule will dissolve to the body temperature
The Mask
The Mask- Contains amino acid complexes and grapefruit complexes. This sheet mask will help keep your skin hydrated and deliver nutrients to your skin. It was designed to feel like skin, which means it will adhere better to the skin and reduce irritation.
What I thought
To be honest, I had a little trouble massaging the serum into the mask. More confused than anything. I didn’t know if I massaged the mask enough, especially since the mask doesn’t have an indicator telling you when you finish massaging.
The mask was a little thin, it looked like cheap quality but on the contrary, it was pretty decent. When you give the mask a slight tug, it bounces back to its original form. But don’t pull too hard or you will actually make it lose its shape.
The fit of the mask was a little big, so sometimes the neck part kind of fell off. If you have a higher nose bridge you might have floating mask thing happening as well.
I didn’t really think of this point until I was writing this post. But there was one thing that was bothering me about the mask. If the little balls (the actives) only activate with the warmth of the body, then wouldn’t only some parts of the face get the active ingredients and some don’t? Wouldn’t the effectiveness of the mask depend on how well you massaged the mask?
Results
I didn’t really see a huge difference after using this OOZOO Capsule mask, but then again, the mask only promised to mask you look more moisturized and healthier looking. My face did feel a bit more moisturized and a little bit healthier looking but I wouldn’t say the results are amazing.

A Closer look at the mask
Royal jelly extract– contains vitamins, amino acid to help skin glowier and vitalized
Manuka Honey– vitamin b complex, b1,b2,b6 and pantothenic acid, provides vitality and energy to prevent dryness
Amino Acid Complex– cares and smooth skin and skin’s texture
Royal Honey Mask– a see-through mask that contains propolis with royal jelly activator with aqua sealing ingredients, enhance ultra-glow and moisturizing effects
What I thought
Unlike the OOZOO Recovery mask, the Fresh Capsule serum was uniform in color. The serum wasn’t the only difference between the two masks, the material of the mask was different as well. The fresh capsule was slightly thicker and stretched less compared to the Recovery Mask. It was still a pretty decent mask, but the size of the mask was still a little big just like the Recovery Mask.
REsults
I decided to use this mask when my face felt a little irritated and a bit dry. Sadly after removing the mask, my face still felt a little tight and irritated. This mask might not be for when you need intense moisturization. Instead, it would be perfect when you need a light moisturizer or if you prefer a something light especially if you have oilier skin. For me, however, I wasn’t amazed by the mask.

Conclusion
Overall, the OOZOO Capsule masks weren’t that amazing. They did an okay job, but nothing amazing. To be honest, OOZOO Capsule masks weren’t any better than regular masks. The “freshness” of the mask didn’t help it perform better than regular mask. An average mask, I probably wouldn’t repurchase these masks.
