Many people go to great lengths to have the perfect skin, but when it comes to their wedding they would go the extra mile. Some would even go to the extremes. They might get fancy facials while others use the most expensive product in the market in hopes to look their very best. So when I saw a mask called Merbliss Wedding Dress Mask, I had to get it. I mean who wouldn’t wedding day skin?
What is so special about the Merbliss Wedding Dress Mask?
The Merbliss Wedding Dress Mask is super thin, it is said to create a water-repellant coating on the skin. While the hydration coating forms, the mask will relax the skin to make it look glossy, brighter, and evener. It basically is a magic mask.
Merbliss Wedding Dress Mask has two key ingredients:
Pearl powder: contains enriched natural mineral and amino acid to help form a hydration coat on the skin
Caviar extract: contains vitamin and minerals to nourish the skin for healthy skin
What I thought
Mask
The Merbliss Wedding Dress Mask is a very thin mask, it’s so thin that you could basically see my fingers in the picture above. The quality of the mask is quite impressive as well, the mask does not stretch out at all. Even if you intentionally pull the mask, it barely loses its shape. However, the design of the mask wasn’t the greatest. The hole for the nose was quite large, leaving a large part of your face with no mask. Also since I applied it with no mirror I thought the nose slit was for both the nose and lips. It wasn’t a big deal just be careful when putting on the mask.
Result
At first, I thought the mask would leave a residue on the skin since it is claimed to create a water-repellant coating on the skin. Besides the tacky serum left behind after removing the mask, I didn’t feel a”water-repellant” layer forming. Not until I had my shower that is. When I was in the shower I definitely felt a layer of serum that was slippery but it eventually washed off.
As for the brightening effect, I didn’t see a big difference. BUT my skin did look a little glowy. My skin felt incredibly soft and moisturized after.
Conclusion
Will this make your skin perfect as if it’s your wedding day? I think the Merbliss Wedding Dress Mask is a decent mask but I don’t think it is wedding day perfect. It does make your skin super soft, moisturized and a bit more glowy but not perfect. Personally, I think it would be perfect for long-haul flights. It would help hydrate your skin while locking in the moisture with the “water-repellant” layer. I would recommend the Merbliss Wedding Dress Mask, but not for the brightening effect. It’s a very hydrating mask though.
