If you have been reading my blog for a while you probably know that I adore my waterproof CoverGirl Super Sizer. I didn’t think I would find a mascara that would top that mascara, but somehow Covergirl Total Tease made me fall head over heels.
According to the CoverGirl website, this mascara is described as
“Full. Long. Refined. Sexy, teased lashes! Total Tease Mascara darkens and thickens lashes for maximum lash definition. Tease with ease for ultimate lash separation with our smudge defying formula. Our specialized detailing tip allows for no-mess targeted application and gives you a precision tease just where you need it. Also available in waterproof.”
So basically what it is saying is that it volumize, lengthen, and define each lash. So essentially, it does everything.
The strange thing is that the CoverGirl Super Sizer almost claims almost the same thing as well

Are they really the same?
Comparing the wands
The Total Tease has two sides, one short side, and one longer side. It is kind of curved. I tend to use the longer side first then use the shorter side to comb out any clumps. Not really sure if this is the correct way since I still managed to clump my eyelashes.
The Super Sizer has 4 sides but 2 sides are not usable.The unusable sides are too short and can barely grab any lashes. Instead of grabbing the lashes it will put product into your lashes making it look clumpy. The other two sides are the sides you are gonna use, you must strategically place the wand and twist as you comb your lashes.
How are they different?
The Total Tease mascara gives you more volume and length compared to the Super Sizer one. The Total Tease mascara deposit more product that is why you get more length and volume. However, that come with a price. Since more product is deposited, it is way clumpier than the Super Sizer. Sometimes the wand deposit so much product that you suddenly get one giant lash. Not only does applying more product makes your lashes weird it also makes your lashes kind of stiff, kind of feels like you are wearing fake lashes. If you had problems removing the Super Sizer mascara, this might be even tougher for you. Make sure you have a good waterproof mascara remover. Here is a picture of me wearing the Covergirl Waterproof Total Tease. Although it sounds like the mascara doesn’t have many things going on for it, it is a great mascara. It holds curls, adds volume and length. You just got to be careful when you apply the mascara.

Conclusion
I do quite like the mascara, you get more length and volume compared to the Super Sizer. There are a few downsides, but if you are careful and carefully separate each lash there is nothing to worry about.

edit: The Total Tease mascara dries up much faster than the Super Sizer mascara. Even though I had the Super Sizer for longer it still hasn’t dried up like the Total Tease.
