Deciem Niod Photography Fluid Review

Deciem Niod Photography Fluid Review

I first heard about the Deciem Niod Photography Fluid from one of Buzbeauty’s monthly favorite videos. I am quite terrible when I watch monthly favorites. When someone says the product is amazing I literally run out and go out and buy it.  So when Buzbeauty mentioned that it helped her a lot since she is a new mother and it helped her look less tired I had to get it. Can’t say I am a new mother or even have a child but I do have those night where I sleep only a couple of hours and look a little more haggard than normal. I mean who doesn’t want to look glowy and photo ready?

Packaging

The Deciem Niod Photography Fluid comes in a bottle with a dropper to dispense the photography fluid. When I initially first started using it, I didn’t think much about the dropper. However, I have noticed that it does get messy over time. You can see in the photo above that my bottle is getting quite messy. Some of the product would end up on the edges and dry up.

As for the actual product, I am quite undecided. When you dispense the photography fluid you get an opaque white fluid that blends into a yellowish glow. For me, I would not wear it by itself since my skin isn’t even. I have some hyperpigmentation here and there due to acne. If you expect the light reflecting pigments to cancel the unevenness you might be slightly disappointed.

I have tried applying it before and after foundation. I have noticed that if you do apply it after, the photography fluid is noticeably more patchy than if you applied the photography fluid first. Although you do get a more glowy effect applying after applying foundation I would not recommend it. The glow is quite subtle and is not obvious when wearing it under foundation. If you worry about looking about looking greasy, don’t worry.

Overall

I do quite like the Deciem Niod Photography Fluid, but I do not quite see the difference than if we see I was to use a luminous primer like The Body shop one. Although The Body Shop one is slightly pinker you do not see much difference when the foundation is applied over it. If you have clear skin, Deciem Niod Photography Fluid might be the primer for you. However, if you need coverage and want glowy skin I found a better alternative! Chosungah 22 24H Raybeam Highlighter, hint a review coming soon!

Thanks,
