Current Beauty Favorites

If you have been keeping up with my recent posts, some or most of these products might seem a little familiar. I have been keeping my skincare pretty simple, and found myself using the same products over and over again. Although I love taking time to do my skincare, I feel like a simple skincare routine is something I strive for. Without further ado here are my current favorite!

I’m From Mugwort Essence  $40USD

Okay…I know in my review [here], I said I didn’t really love the I’m from Mugwort essence but recently I JUST kept reaching for it. I tend to moisturize my face before I shower and before I blow dry my hair to keep my skin hydrated. For some reason, I always reach for the I’m From Mugwort Essence. I like how simple it is, and knowing that it is only one ingredient meaning it is fungal acne safe is reassuring. Plus the additional benefits from mugwort aka a gentle acne toner, why not? BUT I don’t know if I can justify the price. I would probably opt for my more affordable option (aka my Hatomugi toner)  after I finish this toner. If you don’t mind the splurge I would highly recommend to anyone who is sensitive, suffering from acne or fungal acne this toner.

Klairs Soft airy UV Essence  $22USD

The Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence is just a great sunscreen for all skin types. You can read my in-depth review [here]. It is a very light texture and doesn’t feel heavy at all. it is a little pricey, but if you want a lightweight, no white cast sunscreen, this is a good sunscreen to consider. I personly think it would be great in the summer or if you have oily skin.

Current Beauty Favorites toners cleansers

klairs blue midnight calming cream  $30USD

If you read my previous post [ here], I was pretty much on the fence about The Klairs Blue Midnight Calming Cream until recently.  It was not until I learned how to use it properly that I finally understood why everyone loves this product. It is a great product to prevent pimples but it is also great to reduce the scarring. I would definitely recommend as a spot treatment.

heimish all clean cleansing balm $18USd

The Heimish All Clean Cleansing Balm is one of my favorite cleansing balms right now. I still can’t believe it took me this long to try it out. You can read my review and comparing other cleansing balms [here]. It is a great cleansing balm, it has great packaging, emulsify easily, and best of all it is pretty affordable. Could not recommend it enough.

neogen Real Ferment micro essence  $40USd

I have previously posted a review on the Neogen Real Ferment Micro Essence as well [here], and if you read it, you know this is my new holy grail toner. It is knocked down my previous holy grail toner, I’m from Rice Toner.  The Neogen Toner is a whole different level than I’m from Rice toner. Although they both brighten the skin, the Neogen toner somehow made my skin more translucent. Highly recommend! As I mentioned in my post, it might take some time to see results.

Current Beauty Favorites matcha

Melty Cream Lip  $7 USD

OMG. If you only get one thing from my list of favorites, you have to try this lip balm. ESPECIALLY if you love matcha. I would apply this right before bed and it tastes as if I was having matcha treat minus the sugar.  Who knows…maybe it suppresses your urges to have a late-night snack? lol. If you ever go to Japan, I highly suggest you buy this lip balm. My sister said she saw this in Japan for only $4. I highly recommend you pick this up when you go to Japan!
