I like to try masks but ever since Pony {aka Pony syndrome from youtube} mentioned the TWOTSP Ggulba face mask on one of her videos, I knew I had to get my hands on this mask. The thing is, this mask isn’t the cheapest. For a Korean face mask, it is pretty pricey. However, this mask is relatively inexpensive compared to western face masks. That being said, I still took a while to finally decide to pick up this mask. In this post, I will review Pony’s favorite mask TWOTSP GGulba face mask.
So…What makes this mask so special?
The mask actually contains honey and banana, that’s why it is called ggulba.
ggulba = ggul (honey) x ba (banana)
What is in it the twotsp ggulba Face masks?
Banana
Banana surprisingly has many skin benefits :

- Rich in calcium, potassium, and vitamins
- Brightens
- Prevents and minimize skin damage
Honey
Honey, we all know honey is an amazing ingredient

- Hydrates
- Makes skin dewy
- Calms inflammation
- Naturally antibacterial
However, honey and banana aren’t the only notable ingredients found in the mask
Niacinamide: great for brightening and for gentle exfoliation
Centella: calms skin and helps with acne scars,
Panthenol: helps hydrate and soothe the skin
Sadly, it also contains alcohol and peppermint extract

Which size should you get: Sizing
The TWOTSP Ggulba face mask comes in two sizes S and XS.
I picked up the size S because I think my face is relatively big. However, as you can see in the picture, the mask was a little bigger than my face. You can see the mask going into my hairline.
If your face is slightly big or regular-sized, I would suggest going for XS.
what I thought about it
I was expecting a lot from this mask. Mainly because it wasn’t cheap.
Sadly, the material of the mask felt like any regular run of the mill mask. It has better quality than those typical dollar sheet masks. It keeps its shape but it is still not my favorite material.
However, it does have a cool/interesting backing. Probably the only benefit from this type of backing is that it is easier to remove the mask.
There is one thing going for this mask. I just love the SMELL! It is a heavenly sweet scent. Almost like honey. If I could get a dessert that smells exactly like this mask, I would eat it.
Not only is the mask intoxicatingly sweet, but it also leaves your skill looking super dewy and hydrated. However, it also does leave your skin feel a bit tacky.
Conclusion
I love the scent of the mask and I love how it leaves my skin super hydrated and dewy. But would I run out and buy it again? Probably not. I’m not saying it’s a bad product. It is a great mask. it’s super hydrating and makes your skin glow. BUT I don’t know if I can justify the cost of the mask. There are tons of hydrating masks on the market that can make your skin look glowy. The TWOTSP mask would be one of those masks for special occasions. For that extra special event that you want to look extra glowy while inhaling the heavenly sweet honey scent.
