Laneige cream skin review

So many people rave about the Laneige Cream Skin Refiner but what is the Laneige cream skin refiner? Is it a toner or is it a moisturizer?  Will it be moisturizing enough for super dry winter skin? In this post, I will see if the Laneige Cream Skin Refiner is actually good or not.

what makes it special?

It claims to be infused with a whole jar of face cream. Like a toner, it softens the skin while hydrating the skin like a moisturizer.

Unlike regular toners, the Laneige Cream Skin Refiner can act as a moisturizer and a toner because of the amount of amino acids in it. The main ingredient, white tea leaf is high in amino acids. These amino acids help strengthen the skin barrier, moisturize and calm the skin.

How do I use it?

1. Like a normal toner

– You can put some on your palm and tap into the skin

2. As a mask

– Soak a cotton pad with the Laneige Cream Skin and leave the pad for about 2 min

3. As a mist

– Put some in a spray bottle and spray when your skin needs a little hydration

but does it actually hydrate?

It’s cool that a jar of face cream is infused with the toner but is it actually hydrating?

Surprisingly, it is actually quite a hydrating toner. Instantly my skin felt hydrated as if I applied a moisturizer. Plus my skin felt super plump and hydrated throughout the day.

my thoughts

Overall, the Laneige Cream Skin Refiner is a great hydrating toner. I think it’s great for people who want to simplify their skincare routine or just want something that you don’t need to think much about.

I think it’s great for people who have oily skin or if you want light moisturizer. Personally, I don’t think it is hydrating enough for super dry skin especially those with eczema or super dry skin. BUT it is still a great option as a hydrating toner. You might need to layer a heavier cream or layer the Laneige cream skin a couple of times.

Is it a must-have? Personally, I quite like it and it’s perfect for lazy days. It’s great for almost all skin types. Instantly my skin felt plumper and felt hydrated throughout the day. BUT considering the price and my dry skin needs, I might skip this one. I find that I still need to apply a moisturizer over the toner especially when its winter. However, if you have oily skin, I think the Laneige Cream Skin Refiner would be perfect for you.
